Angie Fox
Angie graduated from Viewmont High School and played softball growing up. She is a mother of three boys and one girl; all of them participle in sports and school activities, including: basketball, soccer, baseball, football, tennis, drill, cheer, and golf.
Concerning her kids and their sports, she said, “We know how expensive sports can be, but we love sports and what it teaches our children.”
She is proud to be a part of Layups are Hard “so she can help give athletes the opportunity to play at the next level.”
Tori Furlong
Tori graduated from Bountiful High School and grew up with sports being a big part of her family. She got married, and her husband also loves sports. With her three boys, sports continue to rule their lives.
Concerning her kids and their sports, she said, “My boys have played at all levels from rec teams to comp teams and now high school. I see firsthand the good sports have been for my boys and the lessons they’ve learned from playing and I believe anyone who wants to play should have an opportunity.”
She is proud to be a part of Layups are Hard because it “gives people the opportunity to continue doing something they love for as long as they can.”
Laurynn Siddoway
Laurynn graduated from Taylorsville High School and grew up with sports being a big part of her family. She then continued her education, getting a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Utah State University. She got married and has two young boys. Her husband loves basketball.
She is proud to be a part of Layups are Hard because she “thinks that sports are always beneficial to all ages.”
Jessica Siddoway
Jessica graduated from Viewmont High School. She has raised four kids that have been involved in sports. She has seen how these opportunities to play sports have benefited her children. She has noticed how much money it takes to “get them the proper equipment, extra training and coaching, getting the kids to events and games, and the opportunity to participate on school teams.”
She is proud to be a part of Layups are Hard because she wants to give back to the community. She said, “Because we could provide our kids with these experiences and we saw how much they grew, developed self-confidence, patience, & learned how to manage their time, we thought we’d like to help other students in our community with these same opportunities.”
Gavin Siddoway
Gavin graduated from Viewmont High School. He is currently attending Pacific University in Oregon where he is a member of their men’s basketball team. He is studying Kinesiology and has hopes of attending medical school after graduation.
He is proud to be a part of Layups are Hard because He has “seen firsthand how expensive it is to play basketball as a child, and now as an NCAA DIII athlete.” He wants to give other people the opportunity to live their dreams of playing sports.
